Education & Resources

Our aim is to provide state of the art information designed to help clinicians prepare to meet the complexities and challenges inherent in caring for the bariatric patient.  The goal of our clinical education programs and publications is to drive informed decisions in order to improve patient care outcomes. Sizewise has an active education program that includes case studies and assistance with Prevalence and Incidence Studies. We also offer a free newsletter, Xtrawise™, which covers a wide array of patient and caregiver topics including “Weight Bias and Stigma”, “Safe Patient Handling and Falls Programs” and “Wound Care and Risk Assessment”. Additionally we provide presentations on a variety of topics spanning from product use to sensitivity training to patient care topics. Our clinical coordinator is available for special requests and customized presentations. Some current presentations include:
